Job Title: Shelter Meal Provider
Responsible To: Shelter Director
Supervisor: Susan Spector, Volunteer Coordinator
Length of Commitment: Based upon applicant's current schedule
Time: 5:30-7pm
Location of Volunteer Work: 336 N. Rush St, Prescott, AZ
Age Requirements: 18+ (younger with an adult chaperone)

DUTIES
To cook, deliver, serve and help clean up dinner that will feed 15+ people; to provide an item to contribute to the PAWS refrigerator such as fresh fruits/veggies, bagels, milk, lunch meat, etc.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
No experience necessary.

What is meaningful about this position?
Through volunteering with PAWS and taking on this position, you are helping PAWS follow and succeed in its overall mission and goals: To create a safe and healthy environment for women and women with children. In allowing our guest to have a hot meal you are helping them toward the steps to recovery and solutions to their current situation. Meal Providers are encouraged to stay and share dinner with our guests in an effort to foster community and dialog.

Training Provided: Meal Provider and online sign-up instructions are provided.

Number of Volunteers: Either a group or individual, men are allowed to be meal providers, but must remain in the Community Room only and may not enter the main shelter space.
